We believe that faith in Christ is the heart of life and so seek to serve him in all things. HCM exists to function as the body of Christ on earth. We are an active ministry of worship, learning, pastoral care, advocacy and friendship. . . all aspects of ministering to, for and with people with intellectual disabilities. We strive to be a place of encouragement, a place of hope, and a place where authentic relationships can be fostered and developed.

Easter Basket Bonanza A Spring Giving Project
Easter is a time to celebrate. As a faith community we celebrate the new life we have in Christ. Jesus' resurrection fills us with hope and joy as we are reminded that God is triumphant. As we remember and celebrate we also look for ways to share this joy with others. For the last several years we have made Easter Baskets to give away to children in Winnipeg's North End. The joy that comes from giving is a wonderful experience. This year we made 100 Easter gifts. These were distributed through Hope Centre Health Clinic-- a clinic that ministers to the North End Community (Alfred/Powers). They gave to children of families who access their programs. We had so much fun--- celebration through giving!
